| Could you post the ingredients? That would tell us more than the nutrition information. |

Several of those ingredients look bad - the corn syrup solids, breadcrumbs, and vegetable shortening. I would avoid those particular meatballs. You might instead try precooked chicken (not breaded - just plain white meat strips that look like they're ready for fajitas). They are available frozen or refrigerated. |

Another easy idea: buy Italian flavored turkey sausages (Jenni-O or Butterball). They are available in most grocery stores.
You can cook them and then cut them into pieces to put in your sauce. |

| There is a very easy way to make meatballs -- my 16 year old saw this and we tried it -- buy the ground turkey breast in a big rectangular patty. Set it on a Pam sprayed baking sheet and use a spatula to cut it into about 16 little squares. Separate the squares and sprinkle them with whatever seasonings you want -- we used Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes, or until slightly browned. Not as good as hand mixed and rolled meatballs, but not bad, either. |

| I make a meatloaf that uses parmesan cheese and really finely diced veggies as the fillers, in place of breadcrumbs or anything grain-based. Believe it or not, it works really, really well! (People can't tell the difference when I don't tell them.) I've used the same recipe to make meatballs. It's not as quick and easy as using frozen, but they taste really good! |

somewhere I have a recipe for turkey meatballs with greek seasoning and feta cheese- those things are GOOD - quick to mix up, form into balls, bake and freeze. I like to make them small then heat for a minute to go on a salad - reminds me of gyro
i need to find it and use up my ground turkey! |
