Thank you for the wishes!! It's Mother's Day here in the States today (11th) as well!
Personally...being a mom....I think it's great if there is a day to honor us however my thoughts are we need to be honored every day if truth be known. To pick a day and make it a Hallmark Day is really contrived! So many ladies find this day to be quite painful for various reasons. Not being able to conceive for one is a biggy. Another is kids who have strayed. Years ago, there was a time in my life where it was very painful for me to go to church on this day because my kids were winging it on their own in a very painful way. Thankfully those times are now past and they're living their lives in a more beneficial way.
