I'm glad to hear that you're doing well! Welcome!
My advice: (1) Read the book. You don't have to follow the menus in there, but they do give an idea of the myriad of combinations of foods that you can eat. Reading how and why the plan works gives you the foundation to then execute the plan. (2) Plan, plan, plan. If you know what you're going to eat and have everything on hand to make it, it makes it so much easier to not fall back into old bad habits. (3) Check/read the stickies. There is a wealth of information in all of the stickies, including my FAQ, Redrox's myths, Recipelover's amazing recipe database, etc.
Good p1 snacks: veggies and hummus, veggies and cottage cheese, veggies and a cheese stick, nuts and a glass of milk, peanut butter on celery and a glass of milk. I bring a little cooler bag to work every day with my snacks and lunch. People will have lots of other ideas here! |
