Yes, today has been a really busy day. I ate the cool egg/spinach thingy's for breakfast, and ran out the door with celery and cheese. I helped pack my sister's house and I snacked on some nuts too.
I also picked my cat up from being fixed. Poor cat - she'll thank me later?
Anyhow - I wish I had a little more energy and a lot less of a head ache.
All is good, it is FRIDAY!! |

| yep. find your first post and reply to yourself within that thread instead of selecting the "new topic" button from the list of topics in the forum. Whatever the "Subject" was of the first post essentially becomes your journal "title". If you want to change it, you can edit your own post and change the subject to be whatever you want the title to be. |

So, today is day #5. I have been soooooo busy!!! BUT, I have gone from 169 to 164.5!! That is not too bad, considering everything that I have been doing (I figured that being busy would discourage me from eating right).
Anyhow, it is awesome to me that I don't really have any cravings. Is that weird? I feel really level, without the ups and downs that sugar causes. In fact, after the first two days of head aches, I really started to feel great!!
Thank goodness, somebody brought a great salad to a mother's day party that I went to. I did drink some soda, but it was diet (I want to get off of soda completely - I never buy it myself, and I used to be a big runner so I didn't used to drink it at all). As for my candy weakness, I did buy some non-sugar licorice - did not taste that good, but it did something for me.
The other party that I went to after working 13 hours yesterday was so easy to eat right, and I didn't feel neglected or anything. I keep asking myself, if this is really a diet. It has been pretty easy, and I feel great! I used to get a little reflux, but I don't have it at all any more, and my stomach never hurts - and I don't even feel any hunger pains (yesterday was so busy at work I didn't eat for more than 15 hours - or pee for 10 hours) and I still never got hunger pains. I know that isn't good, but you don't have a choice some times.
This is the strangest diet, but it is fitting very well into my lifestyle. I do have to plan a little, but it is not overbearing. So far, so good, and I am so excited for many future events because I feel so great...... I can't wait to see how much I have lost when the first phase is done. I really like this phase, I can see why people say that they don't want to move to the second phase. |

Today I took a youth group out to eat ice cream..... Didn't even care for one. In fact, this is how I used to be when I was in High School..... I never liked ice cream.
It wasn't even hard. I actually walked out of there feeling no nausea like I usually do after eating a huge load of sugar.... How REFRESHING!
Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if I ever want to go back to eating it.... This diet is doing some strange things to me. In fact, I am looking for a good half-marathon or triathalon to do some time after summer, if anyone knows of one - let me know.....
(Oh, in between my last writing - I had a cholocalte craving that I was able to fix with an 80% choc. piece (less than 1g sugar). |

I'm plugging away still.
I had a huge energy burst this morning. I think it stems from other frustrations in life. Had to go to the gym, crank up the music and run. I did 3 miles, and felt relieved after. I also did some stretching and crunches.
Diet is great, life is crushing me..........
Really hungry around noon - skipped breakfast because I wasn't hungry, and I was too busy. |

Well, I've been doing alright - by the rules. I'm being LAZY.
Anyway it is just a bla bla day.
Weird, I havn't changed much about what I am eating (everything is on the list). Now I have the runnnnnnnnnnnnsssssssssss.......... You wouldn't think you would get the runs from what I am eating....... In fact, I would think that I would be a little backed up...hmmmmmm |
