I've been drinking plain decaf with Splenda, but I have a question about General Foods International Coffee. They have a Sugar-Free Decaf Vanilla product. The specs are as follows:
Calories: 30
Fat: 2.5g
Sat Fat: 2g
Trans Fat: 0g
Carbs: 2g
Sugar: 0g
Included in the ingredients is a non-dairy creamer which contains partially hydrogenated coconut oil. Now I know that's not a good ingredient by any means, but do you think the tiny bit included warrants our not having this product at all? Thanks for your opinions! |

I wouldn't use this either. Those 30 calories are coming from somewhere, and it's not likely to be anything healthy.
You can use flavored SF syrups in your coffee, though. Also, Splenda makes some flavored sweeteners that would be fine (one of the flavors is French vanilla). If you add your own NF or LF milk (or NF dry milk), I'll bet it's at least as tasty as that product. |

| Thanks for the info - I'll steer clear. But I can't wait to find flavored Splenda - I had no idea! |
