I joined - but am about to cancel. The meal plans are not very realistic IMO and the forums are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow, very few conversations, mostly responses from veterans - of course with all the members you get the same 10 questions 20 times a day - can I eat this, is this okay, can I eat beans, can I drink milk, what salad dressing is okay, can I eat 2# of almonds a week, is it okay if I went off and ate 2 loaves of bread with butter, should I stay on p1 for 3 more weeks because I ate half a french fry....and my favorite, I don't eat any veggies is sbd for me....
If you want really good meal plans - look for menu threads, the food/recipe discussion, scan journels of the successful veterans, read the "PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST" thread - it's all right there and free!
Good luck - this is the best place to get information [well one of two of the bestest places!] |

| It would probably be tough to beat the support that you can receive on this forum. My 2 cents is to save the subscription cost. |

Always be careful with everything that is offered for money!
Most of the things are available for free already.
What do you need a "diet-calculator" (just an example) for? There are loads of BMI-calculators out there and that should do, no?
Cookbooks? naaa... recipe-threads are just as good!
Being a student (again) I make do with everything that is free and that is plenty.
Just my opinion  |

bekkoula-Your weight loss ticker scared me for a minute. I didn't realize it was in kg. I was afraid you were looking to weigh 80 lbs!!! That would be worrisome. lol Glad I noticed the kg before freaking out. haha
Cute ticker, by the way. |

The Recipe and Food area of this forum saved me from hours and hours of trying to follow menus in the books (and I am sure from the online site it is the same). This entire board is a great resource. Save your money. You can easily find answers to most of your questions on this forum.
Definitely check out the Recipe and Food forum. I created a recipe summary (table of contents sort of) to good recipe links that have been posted over the years. It can always be found in one of the sticky messages near the top of that forum.
Definitely check out the section that I put near the top for diet information. You can also find this in the FAQ sticky, but here is what is available to help you. I used the Meal Planning Guidelines to help me devise easier menu planning for SB.

I thought about joining too but it looks like all the info you'll ever need is on this board, and it's free! :) Thanks to everyone for posting.
