Hi,
Today is my first day on Phase one and I was wondering if you are allowed splenda or nutrasweet. I like to drink Crystal Light and occasionally propel. I know this info is probably in the book, but I can't get out to get it until tonight. I am excited to start the plan as I KNOW I am a carb addict. LOVE sugar and sweets. Hope everyone has a great week. |

Yep. just count any calories towards your sweet treat limit. (100 cals per day) Even splenda does have some calories in larger amounts. (96 cals per cup for the bulk stuff)
Also even without the book, if you are posting here, you can still get to all the food lists and menu templates from the FAQ sticky threads here. All the available sugar substitutes are listed in the ummm... "Sugar Substitutes" section there! ;) |

| Just an FYI -- Propel has sugar in it... first or second ingredient I think. "Sucrose syrup" AKA sugar. Too bad, I know, b/c it tastes pretty good! |
