unless it has something extraordinary in it - use water with some crystal light and metamucil!
ok, looked it up - It has 8 gm of sugar per serving [and sugar doesn't normally appear in water - so its added]. I don't feel like it's your best choice of drink.

Yea, I just stick to regular water. it has no calories. It's easy, and drinking water shouldn't added to you calorie intake. |

So bring snacks with you incase this happens. You're supposed to have snacks between meals. I like cheese sticks, or celery sticks.
Also, nuts are a good snack. Only have about 20 tho. But they keep you full. |

I see that one - they are different for different flavors. I use the lipton ice tea mixes [zero calories] because I hate the flavor of water at work. If you are truly hungry, it is likely you are not eating enough. In phase 1, you may have to eat a little more. Remember those portions are to start, and you can go back for more - some people find they need more in p1 on different days. oh - are you getting your 2 cups of dairy? that and the beans are part of what keep me from being hungry on those days that nothing soothes the beast!
It's always personal choice, just sharing what works for me. |

You shouldn't feel hungry on South Beach. Maybe you aren't eating enough throughout the day - eating it too much at one or two times? Or maybe you need more proteins/fats that are good for making you feel full? The reason they state that the Special K water is supposed to make you feel full is it has protein in it, but it would be better to get that from a more natural source.
Maybe you can post your typical meals for a day or two and we can see if there is a problem somewhere? |

That link does not give you ingredients. Only nutrition facts.
Here's an atricle about the water:
http://www.diet-blog.com/archives/2007/02/22/special_k_protein_water.php
looks like it has 5 grams of protien, and 8 grams of sugar. It doesn't seem worth it to me.
Here are the ingredients:
Water, contains two percent or less of sugar, whey protein isolate, citric acid, phosphoric acid, natural flavor (contains soy), calcium lactate, calcium gluconate, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, yellow #5. |
