Lunches, brown bagging it at work?

I need some advice, my husband (and I) take our lunches to work. We started today in Phase 1. I think I will not have to much of a problem but my husband might. I normaly pack him two sandwiches made from whole wheat sliced bread, lean meats and cheese, 2 diet sodas, and a small bag of chips. This sounds like a lot but he eats this through-out the day. He works sometimes away from his office and can't always heat things up. I need ideas on what can be packed and eaten cold. I need somewhat  manly ideas, if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance!!

a few things come to mind - chicken or tuna salad loaded with veggies, green salad with protein - cold cuts, grilled meats, eggs, cheese and beans! black beans are great on a salad, chopped salad with veggies and beans; meat roll ups - slice of deli meat, little cheese, rolled up around a pickle spear or avocado slice. Or leftovers of whatever you made for dinner - one of those wide mouth thermos jars for chili or a hearty soup.
I'm stuck in salad land myself - I've had 11 days of salad at work....am about ready to make a change!

and make sure you pack extra snacks - nothing worse in P1 [or ever] than being hungry and out of snacks! I'm lucky to have access to refrigerators at work and today I noticed I have - greek yogurt, cheese sticks, veggies [a BUNCH], salad fixings....the list goes on...but at least there's no reason to grab something nasty out of the vending machine

oh lordy - i am the queen of overthinking!!! but I've found when you are hungry and you have food that is attractive and tasty - even if what you want is a burger and fries - you will eat what you have and be satisfied.

I don't remember if you've both done p1 before, that's why I suggest making sure you have plenty of snacks - somedays you might eat more than others and having more than you need on hand will keep you away from the bad stuff [usually!!!!]
