Hi, Everyone. I just dropped in from Phase 2 to see if anyone new was coming on board, and I found you guys!!

Today is the day to prepare your breakfast, lunch and snacks for tomorrow. Eat only those things from the P1 list that you really enjoy. BE SURE TO EAT ALL YOUR VEGGIES!! That's 2 1/2 cups of vegetables every day.

Remember, breakfast doesn't have to be eggs. It can be 2% cottage cheese with shopped carrots, celery, whatever. Or you can make, say, some extra roast chicken for supper and extra veggies, then have them for breakfast the next day.

If you work outside the home, treat yourself to a small soft-side cooler (not too small. You aren't going to believe how much you should eat on this plan).

Buy reduced fat string cheese, hard boil some eggs, buy some bread & butter pickles sweetened with Splenda. Get some turkey pepperoni slices. Keep pepper strips, raw cauliflower, brocolli and carrot strips in a container to snack on to keep up your veggie intake.

Note that you get 1 teas. allowed fat for breakfast, 1 tbls. for lunch and 1 tbls. for supper.

Enjoy the allowed sweets. The next two weeks will fly by and you truly will enjoy them. Just get your mind set straight.
And last but not least, visit these forums often. The people are great and we all just want to help each other.

Lots of Luck to you all.

Me again. Make that 4 1/2 cup veggies a day - 1/2 cup for breakfast, 2 cups for lunch and 2 cups for dinner.

Easy to do if you love salads.

Hi all I am new to this board. My friend Stacy has done the plan and lost 45lbs. She keeps swearing by it so I finally gave in and borrow the book. I have been making marinades and cooking all day to be ready for tomorrow. Gotta get this done. 152lbs to lose.

No name ideas but I have started the first day and I'm hald way through it so I'll tell you what I've planned for the day:

b- 2 eggs, mushrooms and spring onions with water
s- pumpkin seeds (cuz I had to go on a field trip with the kids and that was the easiest to take with me
l- mixed salad with white balsamic vinegar and low fat cheese slice
s- hummus and veggies
d-salad with salmon
s-???
green tea - 2
water - good so far.

I am just trying to get through one day at a time. every day I get through is one day of treating my body right and living healthy. That are the main goals for me.

Good luck girls! (and any guys!)

I'd love to join all of you on this journey you're starting today! I just found this site, registered and then... found this thread! Like it was meant to be. LOL It's also the push I needed to jump into this thing and do it ONE MORE TIME. So yes, I am a "restarter", too.

I don't know my weight (still in denial) but I'm guessing I've gained back 25# or more. :::sigh::: And they're the hardest pounds to lose, the last ones. :( That's alright, though. Having done it, I know I can do it again. I'll post my weight/goals soon.

Having read all of the messages in this thread, I know you're looking for a name for this group... I have a suggestion.

Monday Miracles

Using the dictionary, I would pick this definition of miracle to describe us...

"3. a wonder; marvel." (Marvel, noun, 1. something that causes wonder, admiration, or astonishment; a wonderful thing; a wonder or prodigy.)

Just my suggestion... anyone else have some ideas so we have something to pick from??

Maddie... let's all consider each other (those on this thread starting today) our personal buddies. Me, I need more than one!!! If you need support... come here. :)

Sounds like we have a wide range of ages here... from college age to empty nest age. And lots of restarters. Anyone here never tried SB before???

Oh... and have you guys all seen the new changes to the food lists that came out in the new book, Supercharged???

I'd like to join in this little group! I just started today as well. I picked up the book on Thursday and jumped on board today! I have 47 pounds to lose until I'm at a weight I think I'd be comfortable with, but that's not saying I won't want to lose more when I get there!

I'm 22 and from NH. I'd love to have some buddies and if this group accomplishes that, count me in! :)

I'm re-starting again today as well and would like to be a part of your group. I haven't gotten off to a great start this morning though because I feel terrible and am having major allergy issues. All I've had to eat so far is a few peanuts. But I do have my egg beaters, turkey bacon, V-8 with me so I can have breakfast when I'm feeling better.

Great to be part of a group starting this.

Hi... ! I'm back, after a few years... I just dug up my old password and I'm back.

I quit smoking about a month ago, and WOW! My weight started going up about two pounds a week... !

I was on the Beach about 2 years ago, or more, and I had been doing well, but of course I left. Last year I was going to the gym alot, and making advances there...

I got down to about 175, but I am back up to 185? 190?

But there's been a lot of positive changes in my life the past year... so I'm ready to try again, and this time stick with it... !

PS where is everyone from? I'm from Long Beach, CA, but I make my home in Mexico City...

Hi Folks,

I started today as well and would love to share my experiences and learn from yours as well!:) This is my first time and I'm looking to lose 15 lb.

I have an older edition of the book; is there an updated food list posted here? Please advise.

Thanks,
Dips.

Hey groupies!

i am almost through day one although admittedly the night time is hardest for me because I love to snack. I have been doing really well today and my husband has been very supportive in making me some nice foods for dinner tonight.

A little about me. I am joining you from Istanbul in Turkey so i am probably a bit ahead of most of you (in time I mean). I have been doing SBD for a while off and on and I really liked how it made me feel after these first two weeks.

I am mostly here because I think it is a great way of eating and is really healthy for your body. If I lose all the weight I want to lose then that's great, but to be honest I don't even know how much weight I need to lose. I'm not really thinking like that this time. i am thinking about being healthy for life and to do that I need to retrain my body with good carbohydrates and regular exercise.

I am turning 30 this year and I'll be going to the Philippians for a (long after wedding) honeymoon and I just want to be at my best for it. I want to bring in the 30's in the best shape of my life.
