Actually, I don't care if you comment or not. I'm just posting it for anyone who is interested in seeing what happens. I don't really want or care about your comments. I don't need your encouragement/discouragement. I am doing this because I want to do it (the experiment that is), and whether you approve or not or whether you think it is right or not really doesn't concern me.

Maybe you would be really happy to see me fail at it to prove your point that SB only works if you do it the way the book says.

That is ok. I said I didn't know if it would work, but I'm really interested to find out. So, I promise I will post there what happens, good or bad.

If you want to know, then come by, if you're just coming by to tell me this is not how SB works, then save your fingers the typing. I already know that, OK? I don't need your comments to tell me that.

Good luck to everyone who is on Phase I! You don't have many more days left, and then, hopefully, you'll be done with Phase I forever... and on to Phase II.

If you are interested to see if my experiment works, just drop by. No flames there, please. Only come by if you are interested in what I am trying, I do not want your negative comments. Today my joy level is way down due to yesterday.

Thanks.

so questioning is now flaming?

and interest is only a WTG girl! congrats you're doing GREAT...

i guess I define interest very differently.

I'd actually appreciate input if you ever see something that I'm doing incorrectly or not "by the book". Don't abandon this thread completely, please! Some of us still need the guidance. :)[/quote]

sorry, sometimes things escalate and in reality only a couple of people requested no input!!! I'm no expert, but I do try to read the list and requirements thoroughly and frequently. I had SO MUCH help last year when I started and again in the past 6 weeks. because, if I knew it all and did it right - I wouldn't have been starting over [make sense??]

I"ve also had a couple of people set me straight when I kept doing the same "stupid" thing over and over and you know - if it hadn't gotten hammered into my head, I probably wouldn't be trudging along with it slowly but surely.

I believe this thread was created for those of us that wanted to do the SBD diet together and give/receive encouragement. Maybe the problem here is that you joined the wrong thread. No disrespect intended, you just logged in to the wrong place to post comments about an experiment.

Hope everything works out well for you. . .

I was starting Phase I when I joined this group.

Good luck everyone, on your journey.

I am leaving now.

Oh very good Laura on your dining out accomplishment! :D Isn't it great when you feel empowered by your choices and not "limited". That is why looking at SB as a way of life rather than a diet works so well. And nothing tops a salad with nice warm grilled chicken. YUM! it's one of my faves.

Kudos to everyone else sticking with the plan as well!

and Gray-You are totally right, planning makes all the difference in the world! If you have tasty alternatives on hand it makes making the right choice all that much easier.

Have a great day ladies!

Wow! i feel some what responsible for some of this because I was the first one to admit I cheated :( (not slipped up because every choice I made, I made knowing full well what I was doing and I'm definitely owning it.)

I forgot how brutally honest the veterans can be  . Definitely keeps you on your toes. I'm always a little wary of what I say on here because it is a public forum, everyone should be (as much as you guys have all helped me in the past you scare me a bit when the strong insistent advice starts rolling  )

You've been a supportive bunch but I just like to stay away from disbutes. Maybe in a few weeks I'll stop by the p2 thread and see how your all doing.

Good luck

In an attempt to get our group back on a positive track, I have started a new thread here in the P1 forum... No Time To Waist! Yes, that received the most votes. So... if you'd like to continue this thread or come over to the new one for the next five days it's up to you. But I'll be posting in the new thread. I don't really want to read confrontational posts right now.

Hello everyone, I can't believe what is going on :? . My sister and I started this thread for support and advice and from what I can see it has turned a bit nasty between some of you.

This is suppose to be for encourgement and support and yes if you do goof up I expect someone to tell me. I have lost 6 pounds in the first week which I think is amazing.

I need some pointers please I am PMS'ing and I am craving sweets. So far I have managed to control my cravings.......................

P.S. having trouble changing my tracker!!!!!

Congratulations on controlling your cravings. I know sometimes we slip up and give in, understandable . . . just do the very best you can not to. The cravings will subside sooner if you can avoid the sugar.

As far as the tracker, I was having a little trouble too. When you are on the tickerfactory site, you may need to enter your pin and then simply change the number in "Current Weight." Then you would copy the code from the one under bbCode:
When you post it to your signature area, remove any blank spaces that occur at the end of any lines. That is what causes the problem. I believe there is a good thread around here somewhere that describes all the problems that folks may be experiencing.

Hang in there sister, you can do it. 8)
