| So I have started phase one and marching along when zap I guess whatever I had to eat ( I'm guessing the steak that I had with veggies) Gave me a real serious case of food poison, I don't want to be descriptive, but it was so bad my husband gave me some crackers and club soda and that's all my stomach could take for 2 days. Yesterday I was feeling a little better but when I saw the eggs my stomach turned again so I decided to have a qtr cup of plain oatmeal with no additives. I hope I didn't sabotage my plan but it was the only thing that stayed in my tummy. I also made a phase one chicken soup for lunch and dinner which has help. I just hoping to feel better and should I extend it for a couple of more days? |

Being healthy is what's important.
If oatmeal and crackers were the only thing you could keep down that's fine. You do need to give your body nurishment while your sick, and although those arn't technically allowed in phase 1, they will help you feel better. That's what's improtant.
Don't worry about the diet while you're sick, just worry about getting better.
You can think about the diet when you feel well enough to be back on it.
Hope you're feeling better!! :D |

| Thank you . I am feeling better but I realize that really it wasn't food poison but stomach flu , I had the chills ,aches and fever. I was thinking of doing some extra days but I realized the only thing I ate that could have cause some damage was the oatmeal. But then I realized that I only ate a really not even half a cup the whole day.So I think I am going to continue my last day is today and see what happens. All I can say that being sick wasn't fun but I think it help me lose a couple more lbs than I expected. So I 'll be careful going forward and not torture myself over the forced slip. |
