Drinking something sweet (and sugar-free) may help. Try tea, coffee, soda, or SF drink mixes. (Watch the caffeine, though.) I'd recommend staying away from anything with significant calories in it, like SF hot chocolate, until your cravings are past. You can eat a lot of SF sweets without getting full, but there's a limit to how much you want to, or can drink. Your body will learn to stop wanting sweet stuff all the time.
Another good and healthy thing you can do is to choose some of the sweeter vegetables as snacks. Jicama (very tasty with lime juice) and red bell peppers are good choices.
The best thing you can do now is to focus on learning how to enjoy a healthy diet, with a minimal amount of sweet treats. It probably won't take as long as you think it will, and you will be happier in the long term. |
