Well, the new book has been on the market for two days already, and no one has any information to share - I am amazed. (Sorry, does that sound mean - I do not mean it that way.)
I am waiting for my copy from the library, but somehow they are dragging their heels, as the book is in, says so on their website, and I am no. 1 on holds. I will share whatever I read there. |

| I haven't received mine yet. I pre-ordered thinking that I would pass my old one on to my mom. Can't wait though. Rereading the book really helps me stay motivated. |

My problem is not exercise, always has been and still is forcing myself to make healthy decisions about what to eat. For others it is the reverse. I cannot reconcile losing weight by eating properly and not exercising. For me it just does not work. So I think that the new book may be disappointing for me. However I will read it with an open mind(and closed mouth) and maybe become more motivated. Happy reading! |

I saw Dr. A interviewed on TV this morning - from what I heard, it's not just adding exercise. A lot of foods have been added since the first book - but you can see the added foods through this (and other) web sites devoted to the SBD. There will be more recipes as well (but I'm sure there are more here...).
On another note, I'm like you - I have always exercised, I've just been a bad eater. That's one thing I like about the SBD, it helps me make good decisions about what to eat. I can't lose weight through exercise alone or by dieting alone - I need both. |

| i think he means NEW from the prior edition.... that he added CARROTS, BANANAS beans and low fat dairy in the appropriate places (and amounts) |

Yeah - that's what I meant. I have an old copy of the book. This is what I said:

| Has anyone ordered the book from amazon? It says that if you buy it and pre order the matching dvd workout it will be free of charge. But i haven't figured it out yet, I placed both items in my cart, and the dvd was regularly priced. |
