Hello girls,
I'm in P1 and will finish phase 1 on the 1st of May. I was suppose to have my monthly cycle on the 21st but I still haven't got it. Anyonw else with a period problem in P1?
Also almost 2 weeks down and I've been very very good. My appetite sucks I'm barely hungry and I have only lost 8 lbs. I thought I would loose more since I've been walking 10K steps a day.
Whats wrong? I'm so sad :cry: |

Are you sure you're not pregnant?
You are unhappy with an 8-lb weight loss? You should be congratulating yourself. That's fantastic! |

Not sure about your period being THIS late----um, could there be another reason why it's late, maybe? |

Well, I've been walking 10k steps a day too, and I have gained a pound.
Be happy with your 8 lbs! And you still have a few days to go. |

Heh. Yeah, I know that.....but, I don't think it's muscle. I haven't done anything to build new muscle. And I certainly haven't done anything in the last two weeks that might build some.
It's probably water.....but, whatever it is, my scale is supposed to be moving in the other direction. This is frustrating. |

| Nope not preggers! I checked this morning. I am glad to know y'all think 8 lbs is a good start. I have been dreaming of the 13lbs the book promises. I know I know for people who need to loose 100lbs this might be the case... but who can help be greedy. :) thanks girls |

| I'm pretty sure the book says phase 1 isnt the weight loss phase. I know I certainly didnt read any promises in there. |

| It's pretty common as your hormones adjust (insulin is a hormone, and it affects other hormones). |

I have lost 25 pounds in 3 months on another diet and everytime i loose weight or gain it too quiclky my cycle changes. It might be just the weight loss but if you still have problems then you should go to a dr.
And congratulations on the 8 pounds. Good Luck. |

| I was supposed to have my period during my second week of phase 1 and I didn't either. I took about 5 pregnancy tests and saw my doctor, and I'm definitely not pregnant. When you drastically change your eating habits, stuff like that can happen. |
