| In Northern California, it depends on the store. There is one store (discount) where I can buy a gallon of NF milk for $2.50. At the regular groceries it is $3.99 a gallon  But a loaf of bread for my kids school lunches was $4.09 at the regular grocery-and eggs-they are $2.50 a dozen :( |

| $2.71 at BJs. I usually buy it at Wal-Mart, I think it's around $2.90 or something like that. |

Costco/bulk stores are the way to go (if you have one near you). For the amount of cooking, fresh veggies, and dairy we go through on SB... i save a lot of money.
3 cartons of organic soymilk is $6...
3lb bag of asparagus or snap peas, etc... $6
5lb bag of baby spinach.. a whopping $5!
lean meats... much cheaper than supermarket and good quality.
for $50/year, definitely worth it! |
