Whew! Am I glad that today is my last day! I ended up losing 8 lbs altogether, but the last few days were killer.

Here's a question for the ladies on the board: have you noticed how your monthly hormones have influenced you on the diet? I started out so great the first week and a half--no cravings, high energy (was working out), feeling great--then the last 4 days have been h#ll--terrible cravings and intense hunger pains! I finally figured out that it was my time of the month and was wondering if anyone else noticed that problem or if it is just normal end-of-phase-1 burnout...

Anyway, I'm having oatmeal tomorrow and can't WAIT! :D

many women have monthly cravings and/or increased hunger due to hormonal fluctuations.

i said to a friend the other day who had a cheat/treat day and blamed it on PMS if she was going to use that excuse every month for the next 30 years.....

it happens... it's a fact of life... you can work through it, find ways around it and just say no... or you can use it as an excuse to eat badly EVERY MONTH...

your choice.

enjoy your oatmeal i have it almost every day.

I did this WOE for a strict 14 months, and kept a daily journal and weight journal, here on my computer at home. I was interested to see how my weight might fluctuate around my TOM. But to my surprise, my weight didn't seem to be affected by it. I guess I'm an anomoly.

I don't think I have a cycle. I don't know if my hormones still fluctuate...sometimes I think so. Sometimes I think I'm going to lose my mind, and I'd like to mow down some pedestrians on my way home from work.....maybe that's hormones. As far as wanting to eat what's not on my diet, I'd like to do that all the time.
