Do I have to???? hm... probably I should, right? I wrote a journal on my own forum for over a year and was frustrated in the end and stopped all dieting but kept my weight, so I am not really in the mood to keep a journal and I will not have too much time to attend to it but let me try.
What are the general expectations of a journal?
Account for every food item eaten during the day?
Sports activities?
Feelings? |

Whatever you want! ;) I didn't start mine until I was in P3 (and now keep it on another forum anyway), but never really kept a food journal and it would have likely driven me crazy really. But they help a lot of people it seems, so would never vote against keeping a daily food journal as I think they have value. Mine was just a place to record general thoughts, accomplishments, vents, yoga chat and hang out. Yours can be whatever you want it to be. But you knew that! ;) welcome and good luck! what kind of a forum did you have before? |

I tried to start my own diet-forum with a couple of friends but in the end it was MY diet diary and almost nobody else posted - let's not talk about growing membership

Yeah 10 registered members! This place has too many and most are IDs that never post and worry me about what they are really doing here! Nessa's board started up this summer when we had a blow-up here and then really picked up steam when this place went down for 3 out of 4 months at the end of the year. I just help moderate it. The owner/sys. admin is in the far east somewhere and we had a database error that crashed it and no way to fix it until she decided to show up. You can find Nessa's place at http://southbeachfriends.net/forum/ . It's more private (she approves you) and a little more cozy I think and has better smilies! ;) There are a lot of people who float between the two since the core members there probably started here. Not trying to shoo you away or anything! Just providing options. ;)
"Pessach-Sins" -- Don't know why, but I found that funny. I didn't realize until someone posted something here this year that WW matzoh isn't kosher for passover. But I'm not Jewish (although my family is) and our congregation is on the liberal side of Reformed and is comprised of a lot of mixed marriages like ours, so other than going to the community seder at the church where we meet, we don't really follow the passover "rules". |

Magna posted the ingredients and the "not kosher for passover" info on one of our boards, but I think it was on yours. Mishpocha is a new one on me and I thought I'd heard most of them by now! roughly translates as "the bomb"??? ;)
Want your journal back yet sweetie! ;) |

I am also ALWAYS approving my forum members (have also another forum) and I don't show things that I consider "private", that's for members only!

94.6kg grrrrrr......
yesyesyes, I should be quiet - to get rid of 3 kilos in one week is good but now I am facing shabbos - omg... yesterday mil was so nice to buy baddies for hubby after I had talked him out of it via the phone but dear mommy takes care of her beloved son and supplies him with sugars - I felt like beating her!
Okay, folks, have a nice weekend - I'll report on Sunday morning how bad mine was. |
