shaky on day 1?!

This is my first official day of phase 1. HELP. Had a 1 egg/3 white omlette with lots of veggies and lil lf cream cheese. 3 low fat sausge links about 1 hour ago and I am feeling a bit shaky. I also had my morning diet coke and had lots of water.
I usually was eating lots of refined sugar and carbs. before today.

I am wondering if this is a little normal or if something else is happening? I have restarted taking my daily supplements of multi vitamin, fish oil, and Cortico B5/B6. I have taken these before but it has been a while.

Any ideas if this is nomral and suggestins for the rest of my day so I stay on track??

have a glass of milk right now and add some beans/legumes in during the day somewhere to keep your good carbs in your menu to the greatest extent possible. don't skimp on veggies. Have some tomato in your omelette next time perhaps. 3 LF sausage links sounds like a lot in addition to 4 eggs in terms of protein. Are they pork or turkey? Be sure to read the p1 foods list in the FAQ sticky thread for allowed types of sausages and frequency of use. Also check out the links to the menu planning template thread (how to adapt your meal plan) for how to put a SB menu together on a daily basis.

Basically you are having a low blood sugar response from fasting all night and then giving your body mostly protein and fat to get going as well as likely early signs of the "SBD flu". see this thread about it: http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43327
