Red's Rule #1463: Weight loss is neither linear, predictable nor comparable.

You will not lose continuously until you reach your goal. It just doesn't work that way. To expect otherwise only helps fuel the frustration you are feeling.

Weight stall and gains for a few weeks are very common going to P2. I gained 3 lbs in 3 days, freaked out, Kim and a few others calmed me down and I stayed the course and it picked up again in a few weeks. But you have to give it time! This is a marathon, not a sprint! The P2 transitioning sticky thread at the top of the P2 forum and linked into Kim's P2 FAQ is also a good resource for how to manage the switchover.

That menu template luvs_torun posted is a another valuable resource. review it against what your menu currently looks like and try to follow it more closely, give it another couple weeks and see where you are then. But don't go backwards. keep moving forward.

By sandwich meat, I'm assuming you mean packaged lunchmeat. Keep in mind packaged lunchmeats are also very high in sodium....can we say water retention? You may want to cut out all lunchmeats and stick with fresh grilled, broiled or baked meats (chicken breast, turkey breast, lean beef, etc.).

To me, lunchmeat is too much like frankenfood.....
