| I have a question on the intent of the new book. Is it a replacement for the old plan, or just an additional option? Nessa made one post about the new recommendation of 3-4 grain servings (rather than up to 2-3 servings as previously recommended, I'm assuming). Is that a change to the old plan, or simply a different plan because this one incorporates exercise? I can't imagine that someone who doesn't exercise other than a 30 minute walk a few times a week (as encouraged on the original plan) could get away with eating 3-4 starch servings daily. |

I admit to NOT reading closely. I admit to not knowing for sure, my take on this is that it's REVISED... |

I was kind of thinking the same thing Kim and put a little editorial comment/?? in my notes in the updated food lists. Seems like it would to help support the increased activity suggested in the Supercharged version, but still we all should be doing some level of exercise anyway! ;)
Like most new releases, it seems to answer and clarify some things and muddy others. Like does the removal of the note about caffeinated beverages mean no caffeine again? Not that it would make a difference for me anyway! |

| We got the new book. I haven't read much so far (midterm time), but I have to complain. [rant]I hate how the cover touts "even faster weightloss" or some such. Like we didn't already have enough problems here with people who wonder why they didn't lose 12 pounds in p1. [/end rant] |
