I'm wanting to lose about 10 pounds. Have decided to do p1 for 4 days just to get a kick start, then progress to p2. Would like for someone to look at what I've got going on today to see if I'm on target:
B: Breakfast quiche (recipe found on this site)
1 c. skim milk
small can V8 (I had to warm it up 'cause it tasted nasty cold. Also added a splash of skim milk. Wasn't bad that way.)
S: Cheese stick
L: Broccoli cheese soup (made with rf cream cheese, 2% evaporated milk, rf cheddar cheese, broccoli and low-sodium chicken broth);
Salad (lettuce, peppers, tomato, mushrooms w/ homemade sf 1000 island dressing, but the dressing is made with real mayo. Is that okay? I used about 2 tsp.)
S: 15 almonds
D: My plan is to have a grilled pork chop and 2 cups of oven roasted veggies (zucchini, multi-colored sweet peppers, purple onion, mushrooms, drizzled w/ olive oil)
Dessert: almond ricotta cream (From SB book)
And somewhere along the line, I'm going to throw in another cup of milk or plain yogurt.
Question: I just noticed in the Foods to Enjoy list from this site that cream cheese isn't listed. Instead, "cream cheese substitute" is listed. What is that? And did I create a major faux pas by having the rf cream cheese (neufschatel) in my soup?
Am I leaving out anything? Having something I shouldn't? Thanks for taking a look! |
