today is MY day1 yippie for me had a good brkfst at 5:00am my snack at 10:30 going to do lunch at 12:00 but wanting to drink the no nos not having juice is killing me what do you guys think about sugar free kool-aid anyone drinking crystal light..with the cravings i think that my closets are going to be spic and span i am going to become a clean freak to get through the day anyone else doing this..or am i just crazy lol

You have taken a huge step in just getting started!! Congrats!!
Drink lots of water. I THINK Crystal Light is okay, but you may want to check around....it may also be in the book.
It took me several days before I wasn't constantly thinking about the next time I could eat. Not because I was hungry, but because I didn't want to mess up!
You will get through it!!

Your doing great.

I am on day 3 of phase 1, to remind myself of what I am doing and why I have a "fat" picture of me on the refrigerator. Its very confronting but stops me snacking on bad foods.

Drinking water is no problem for me, I have used small bottles which I keep with me, and sip throughout the day so far 2.6L day 1 and 3.0L day 2.

Just stay positive and remind yourself how much better life will be as a thinner person.

i am almost positive that crystal light is ok. i sure hope so b/c i drink a lot of it. I really like the rasberry iced tea and rasberry lemonade kinds. I also drink a lot of water, also like 1 glass of skim milk a day if i need some energy.

Remember...1 day at a time... I too have cleaned my closet and purged out all of the stuff.

I have found that sugar free popsicles have really helped me out. I look forward to having 1 (or 2) when I get a craving.

I am so glad that warm weather is here. In the morning I fill an insulated 32 oz. container with ice, fill with water, and really enjoy the ice water all day. It helps me get my water and takes care of my cravings. Yesterday I waited too long before I had lunch and I felt my blood sugar level crash. I was really tempted to eat, and eat, and eat but I quickly took some peanut butter, a string cheese, and sucked down water. I also walked out of the food area and withing 10-15 min. I felt back in control.

You will find your own methods. Just keep going in the direction you are, and enjoy learning about yourself and your body :lol:

Welcome!
Ricotta Cheese is my staple for breakfast in the morning & WATER is a must. It's kind of wierd but I find that if I have my water in a clear container(glass at home, bottle at work) I drink more. Whenever I see my bottle is empty I go fill it up to the top again. With colored cups I don't think about it and drink less.
