I just want to say, that I hope you have all the success in the world, achieve every goal you set out to achieve and live the rest of your life with great health and happiness.
And I want to thank you for your support as well. It's been very important to me. |

Why thank you very much ladies. I'll be checking your journals to make sure you're on track too! ;)
I had my interview today for the Make a Wish Coordinator position and ended up crying... I truly am not a basket case I swear! But we were talking about the wishes and families with terminally ill children. I'm just so grateful for my 2 healthy babes that it makes me very emotional. They are probably thinking "Well we can't hire the weeper, she'll never get anything done!" LOL... Oh well whatever is meant to be is meant to be.
So here's the menu:
B: Mock Danish
L: Kale, white beans w/ tomatoes & beef
S: cheese stick (which I actually remembered to pack!)
D: don't know yet - this is where I get into trouble bc I don't plan ahead! Nothing is thawed and I haven't a clue. Plus it has to fast bc it's track night. |

Thanks gaia!
Today's menu:
B: veggie & cheese omelet
S: Hot Vanilla ?
L: Flax seed crust veggie pizza (which is what I ended up making last night)
S: cheese stick
D: We are hosting a cook out tonight. Hot dog (I know  ) 3 bean salad (found recipe at the southbeachcenturyclub site) & green tossed salad. buns, chips & pretzels will be available for everyone else. Guests are bringing beer & dessert ~ neither of which I will have.
S: fudgesicle ?
The only temptation I can foresee is the beer. Hot day - I'll spend the day working outside, it will be difficult. I try to avoid processed food but I found these SBD Crystal Light type of beverages. I'm going to have one of those instead as a little something special at the picnic.
I did my workout again today - just one set again - I'll keep working on it! I also found a 10K to train for since I'm pretty goal oriented, it's difficult for me to exercise w/o a reason. I know health is a reason, but apparently it isn't motivation enough for me. We'll consider it a short fall and move on ;) |

Well the picnic went well and I was temptation free :)
But the best news of all is that I got a call from the Make a Wish Foundation and I've made it to the last round of interviews. This truly is my dream job - and I've gone from 1 in 170 to 1 in 3... Wish me luck - prayers and warm thoughts are greatly appreciated!!! |

I won't wish you luck! But I will stand in agreement with you that the job is yours. I suggest you thank Him already! And claim it! You have what you say you have!
Congratulations. :D |

Thank you mom41! I will continue to be mindful and count my blessings!
TGIF for sure! We have another gathering this evening. DH just retired from the ARMY (last official day is Apr 30). His unit ships Monday for deployment. There's a going away party tonight. I'm sure it will be emotional so I'm going to be mindful of my emotional eating tendancies. I will also have some nuts before I go!
B: left over dinner (hotdog & salad)
S: yogurt
L: omelet w/ veggies
S: nuts
D: ?
D: fudgesicle?
Last night I had a hot vanilla for dessert instead of a fudgesicle. Fabulous :) |

Today's menu:
B: Mock Danish
S: (missed it)
L: salad w/ chicken
S: nuts
D: Grecian Tilapia (Ricotta chs, spinach, seasonings, tilapia) - yummy broccoli
S: fudgesicle?
I checked some new cookbooks out of the library to keep me interested and excited. I am also looking ahead to monday first day of p2. I've fretted a bit about it. I haven't lost much in p1 but I keep reminding myself that p2 is the weightloss phase!!! I love all of the stickies in p2 discussion. They are keeping me sane for now... hopefully it doesn't wear off ;) |

I wasn't losing weight on Phase 1 either, (lost 4lbs in 9days--even gained 5 and had to relose it. lol) but over the weekend, I've basically lost 10lbs! Granted I've changed diets, but I think that the SBD is what made it fall off all of a sudden.
Hang in there!! You'll do it!! |

Well thanks for checking in gaia! I wish you continued success! I did check out 3FatChicks I love that they have a full section dedicated to PCOS! Wonderful.
Today I am officially down 3 pounds and that feels fabulous! I've set a mini goal of another 3 pounds and then I'll go buy some cute new workout clothes ;)
Today is day1 of phase 2 and I am just thrilled to be at the first day of the rest of my life :) Already go my yoga in this a.m. and track practice was cancelled for tonight so dd and I will run together tonight. I love that bc I know I won't let her down and not go :o)
B: yogurt, 1 egg, peppers touch of swiss
S: ?
L: maybe I'll make a pot of soup - or chili even better!
S: pb "milk shake"
D: bacon, lettuce & tomatoes (sandwiches for others)... peppers
D: strawberries & cheese :) |

Hope you find the perfect little outfit!
I haven't met my "goal" calories yet--I'm just not eating enough--but I'm full and fine....I just don't want anymore...
I'm thinking of having chili tonight, too-- with a salad, some FF soda crackers and some baked "french fries.". I've only had 605 calories today and I'm on a 1800-2000 "diet"--(which I've not reached in 5 days... --I always end up around 1600-1700.)
You keep up the good work!! |

| Wow gaia - that is extremely low. I would be very concerned about your health at that level. Your body needs something like 1300 cals to just sustain itself yk? Sounds as though you are getting in all of your missed foods though! |

| Thanks for checking in with me! It really means a lot. I just got home from my final interview with the board of directors. It felt good but I'm being realistic. It's a fabulous position - I'm sure a dream job for more than just me. I'm sure the other candidates are equally qualified. Fingers crossed! BTW dh is interviewing for an equally fabulous position in Colorado in 30 minutes. This is how our life works... I'm sure the Lord's plan will reveal itself in due time. I can only trust and wait :) I will certainly be shouting from roof tops if I do!! |

Tuesday menu:
B: mock french toast, strawberries
L: cream of mushroom soup - I missed the rice so I think I'll avoid making this in the future. It's not a favorite anyway. Tomatoes. Swiss cheese.
S: yogurt
D: Huge salad from Kroger salad bar since I was grocery shopping.
D: Probably a peanut butter milkshake again - those things are heavenly!!
I'm really whipped today - didn't even do my weight workout. I'll do that tomorrow for sure. I had a hard time sleeping last night with my excitement over today's interview :o
ETA: Forgot to add that with the trend of gaining or at least not losing any weight the first couple of weeks of p2 - the novelty of weighing often has sort of worn off... I hope that sticks. It's great to not have a # stuck in my head all day. |
