I would have the chicken & shrimp & all the veggies are YUMMMMMMMMMM but I'd like to have some sauce, even if it's just a tad...Whadaya think? or KNOW for that matter? |

what types of sauces do you usually have? If you made the food yourself, try to check if the sauces you use have high fructose corn syrup in them. If they do, they are no no's (like teriyaki for example.)
I'm not sure about wasabi, since it's essentially a paste. I'm currently out, and haven't had any since I started, so I cant look at ingredients. |

There are a lot of good choices available in Japanese food. Wasabi is horseradish, so it should be fine. (And even if it were bad, you can't really eat very much of it!) Soy sauce is fine, too. Teriyaki sauce likely has some variation of sugar in it, so no (unless you make it yourself with allowed ingredients.) If you make it yourself with mirin and some kind of sweetener, it would probably be OK in limited amounts for P2.
BTW, even in P1 you don't have to avoid shiratake noodles, which are made with tofu. There are several good kinds of noodles you can have in P2 - use the search function on this site and search for "soba" or whatever kind of noodle you're thinking of and you will probably find some guidelines. |
