hi guys-
i've been visiting this board for a while. never signed up though. i have been on south beach since july 07. i started out at 181 and am at 157.
my goal is probably around 135-140.
i had some set backs but with spring i hope to start exercising a lot more.

has anyone ever tried ageless xtra?
i'm just wondering because my therapist (we all have one!) set me up on this stuff to try to replace taking meds and help with my depression.
i have been drinking it for a almost 2 weeks and i went walking the other day.
ive never been much of a runner ( i get winded after 2 blocks). but i ended up running 2 miles. after the first mile i was in shock and disbelief but i just kept going.
i was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with this product. its supposed to promote cell renewal (? whatever that is). and its supposed to give you a bunch of energy.
i just thought i would mention it in case anyone is looking to try to get in the mood to exercise. its really helped me.
its supposed to me a full days serving of veggies too.

i'm going running again today. i'm actually really excited about it.

Some of the ingredients don't sound too SBD friendly - fruit juice concentrate, corn extract & 3 grams of added sugar - recommended twice daily. Perhaps this is why your weight loss has stalled? From everything I've learned so far SBD recommends getting your nutrients and energy the whole foods you should eat each day.

i was losing weight while taking this product. ive been using it for a month, but just over 2 weeks since i started drinking the recommended amount. there is less that .5 percent juice in it and you only drink between 1 and 2 ounces. which is basically two swallows. its not a big glass of juice.
i eat vegetables, so its not as though i am relying only on this product.
if the weight is still stalling after 2 more weeks i might look into not taking it anymore.
