Leftovers?

Hi everyone! New to the message board and getting ready to start SB. I went through the newbie info and didn't see this topic covered so I hope I'm not re-covering something but I had a general question. I live alone and am on a tight budget. I am also a terrible cook so I bought the 30 min meals SB cookbook. Let's say I make the BBQ Baked Chicken one night for dinner, and the recipe makes four servings. As long as I don't get tired of it, can I eat the chicken (or burger or whatever) for lunch and dinner the next day as well and still be within the protein guidelines? Still trying to make sense of all the rules so any advice would be appreciated!!

Yup!
Left-overs are good for breakfast too!

Also here are the Meal Plan Guidelines (for all phases) if you haven't had a chance to check them out yet...

Yes, although I'd probably spread it out just to avoid the boredom factor. Look in the FAQ sticky threads for links to the P1 foods lists and the meal planning template guidelines (how-to adapt your meal plan) for guidelines on protein and veggie portions, etc. But yeah leftovers work well as long as they are beachy to start with! :)

Hi and Welcome....

Some folks make extra on purpose so, in the busy lives, they don't have to cook so often. Some people make pots of soup or chile or whatever and freeze it.

Good luck.
