Ok I have a few questions I tried searching for first but couldn't find the answers...

1. I have several SB books, I used to have the original SBD book but I am not sure if I still do or not... I plan on getting the new supercharged book, do I still need the first? Do you recommend any other of the SB books (I have several of the recipe books)

2. I am not officially starting until I get the supercharged book but until then am eating better more and more each day (easing my way in lol) what are some "free foods" that I can pretty much eat unlimited to curve the munchies (snacking is my biggest prob, then portion control lol but that will come once I start on SB again)

3. What kind of exercise does everyone pair up with SBD? I have been using Carmen Electra's DVDs is that enough? :)

Thanks!

veggies and water are unlimited.
i think that the new book will be fine
as for exercise.. whatever you like that you will do is a good exercise.

and welcome.

until the book comes, you can use the P1 food lists and menu planning template guidelines (how to adapt your meal plan) as well, from the FAQ sticky threads either in this sub forum or in the P1 forum to help you get an idea of what you can eat in P1 and how to structure a meal plan that way. makes more sense than the book menus anyway.

yeah veggies are really the only unlimited "free" food. the P1 food list has a pretty complete list of all those that are allowed. basically just avoid carrots, root veggies and winter squashes for the most part in P1.

I practice power flow yoga exclusively, but really anything you do exercise wise that you enjoy is a good place to start! It's more about just building good lifestyle habits that you will practice consistently for the rest of your life than anything else. Just start and the path usually unfolds along the way if you keep going! :)

Thanks :) I'm glad I found this place, finally a support system for SB dieters :)

Okay another question, is it OK to have an "unhealthy" vice?

I am completely addicted to frappucinos, I go to SBUX every once in a while but I buy the bottles for @ home and have to have two a day or get WICKED headaches lol  I am wondering if it will interfere too much with the diet as it's going to be hard enough starting on phase1 again as is w/out giving that up too!

Also... I don't drink much but is alcohol ok? Like once a week or every other week to have a drink or two? (usually a glass of wine with dinner)

frappacinos are loaded with sugars, even the lite ones, so no, those really aren't ever going to be SB friendly. you can have an iced latte with skim milk and a sf syrup though. there may be a recipe for a faux frappacino for home use in the Recipe Summary sticky thread in the Recipe and Food forum, but I don't know, just a place you could check here.

alcohol in moderation in P2 is fine. not in P1. a glass of wine with dinner is fine and part of the program if you so choose, even every day! ;)
