Hi, Everyone. I tried something different to mimic one of my favorite salad dressings - strawberry pecan fat free dressing. As we should, I checked the label on the dressing and it had so much added junk.........

Well, anyway. I made my own. It's Ph2. I placed fresh strawberries in a bowl, about 1 cup, and added 2 teas Splenda. I let them sit there all day and by the evening, the strawberries had given out a lot of juice.

I drained and saved the strawberries for the salad. To the juice I added 1/2 tbls of balsamic vinegar and 1/2 tbls olive oil. , some salt and fresh ground pepper and whisked it all together.

I put that over a salad of mixed spring greens, slices of purple onions, the reserved strawberries, 1 tbls. of toasted pecan pieces and a tbls. of goat cheese. It was absolutely delicious!!! Hope some of you try it.
