Good Morning All,
Sunday was weigh-in day and with some hesitation we stepped on the scales. To my surprise, we had both lost 5 lbs. ...... :D . My wife started this more as support for me and to change her eating habits so we were especially surprised at her weight loss. I would have like to see a couple more pounds off myself, but part of that may be because I couldn't get in the gym all week due to a shoulder injury. I'm still excited about what I did lose though. I can't believe how easy it really was. I'm looking forward to seeing my final phase 1 weight loss next Sunday. Thanks for all the helpful info to make eating on phase 1 enjoyable and good luck to the rest of my fellow SBD'ers. |

I made it through, too, but did have a couple shots of vodka in my Diet- rite on Saturday. Passed up a whole buffet of gourmet desserts on Friday, though, so that was good. (Do you know if I should "start over" on p1 for two weeks since I drank on Saturday, or should I still believe I am in day 8 now? My friend said on atkins you can't cheat at all the first two weeks.)
I am not noticing a huge difference in my size, but I hope I will by the end of this week. I will just stick with it and see how it goes, it's not that hard. I feel healthier and have more energy. Saturday I was low energy, but I had some cheese and peanut butter and I felt better. I like being on the beach! |

| You shouldn't need to start over because of a small cheat. If you want, you could stay on phase 1 for a couple extra days, but if you are steadily losing weight and feeling better, I wouldn't worry too much. That's the beauty of this "diet". Good luck. |
