I just want to lose about seven more. should i Just stay on phase one until i get down to my weight then move on to phase two? or should i go ahead move on to phase two when the 14 days is up? Today is 11 for me. I just don't want to gain it back when i go to phase two. can somebody give me advice. |

You really need to transition to Phase 2. Otherwise you're just dieting, not learning what foods work for you.
I've read on the boards that you should add in 1 serving of fruit from the P2 list per day for a week. The next week you might want to add in a fruit and a grain.
Monday was the first day of week 4 on phase 2. I'm very conservative in adding in because, like you, I don't want to gain back the weight I lost (13 lbs and counting - 9 on Phase 1 and 4 on Phase 2. I know others who know a lot more than me will respond to your e-mail. |

| The program is P2. P1 is just the prep for P2, and not really designed as the weight loss phase and isn't a healthy way of eating for much longer than two weeks. It is not uncommon to stall or gain a bit as you phase into P2. It's mostly just water weight being re-stored as you replenish glycogen stores in your muscles and tissues. Easy go, easy come! Since you are going to be eating according to SB prinicples and P2 guidelines for the rest of your life, a couple weeks of a stall or a slight gain really shouldn't make that much of a difference, right? ;) |
