Hey there
I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago and I looooooooooooooooooooooove Portillos. Grew up on the stuff. I was home a few weeks ago and I went there with my fam and yes, there are many options for you! All of the roast beef/cheese sandwiches you could get without bread and a side salad or eat them open faced (if you are out of phase 1). They have GREAT chicken salads as well. My problem is the fries....their greasy deliciousness smothered in cheese haunts me at night! Kudos to you for being able to go there and not order them! :0) I miss portillos! |

| the grilled tuna or charbroiled chicken sandwiches without the bun were about the only things remotely close their. ceasar or chicken caesar salads are probably pretty safe. (minus the croutons of course), garden salad depending on what's in it. most of the other salads I probably wouldnt trust to be SB friendly. Do the best you can do! :) |
