I am about to start the South Beach Diet for the first time!! I have tried every diet there is and I only end up gaining more weight which ends in me weighing more each time I try a new one! I am hoping and praying that the SBD is the answer to my prays and that this time the diet will work and I can stick to it. This forum has helped me already, its good to know that their is support out there and I am not the only one doing the SBD. I am expecting it to be hard and I am preparing myself for the tuff part Phase 1!!
I would like to say Congratulations to everyone who is doing the SBD and those of you who like me are taking the first steps to a healthier and thinner life!!

| Im 14 years old and have been on the south Beach diet for almost 3 years.I've had lots of experience with the SBD.If you need information, i will be glad to answer whatever i can. |

| Hopefully you did not do P1 at 11 years old! Dr. A has pretty strong feelings that teenagers should only start in P2 and add more dairy than the guidelines to support a growing teenage body as well. Other than that, it's a pretty healthy eating plan for anyone at any age if you include the fruits and whole grains of P2/P3 for a more balanced nutritional approach to healthy eating. |
