Since weight and my eating habits have been an issue with me for a long time I have tried many different diets/plans and some of my own ideas to lose weight and get healthier.
I am on day 12 now of Phase I and really enjoying this plan. I'm not hungry, I feel great and I think I may have lost weight. (I've "lost" the scale this time around I have no clue what I weigh after 12 days) I'm going by how I feel this time around and my clothes.
I wish I had discovered this years ago. I don't know anyone who has tried SDB and to be honest I always dismissed it as a fad without knowing anything about it. I regret that now :wink:
This is a great plan for those of us who can become number obsessed. That's me!!! Obsess about the scale, the calories, the fat intake, this number that number. While you have to consider your serviing sizes and the guidelines of course on SBD I have not become obsessed with all the numbers doing this plan and have found I can stick with it!!!
The obsessing over every little thing has often led to burnout for me and then a gradual (or not so gradual sometimes) reversion back into bad habits.

Glad you did too then! ;) Yeah the perception of the program among the general public and the reality of it are really quite different. We'll just keep it our little secret OK?? ;) |

| I agree with you, but I am alas still scale obsessed.....however it works for me. But...I really enjoy eating without calorie counting or measuring exact portions! |
