I started SB Feb. 8, 2008. I was just wondering if anyone started about the same time as me. Thought we could share. 8)

I restarted on 2/19, would love a bud close in phases. Looks like we have similar weight loss goals, too! How've you been doing transitioning to P2?

It hasn't been toooo tough going to phase 2. I'm not sure potatoes are for me, unfortunately. I've had apples, bananas, accidentally added 'taters, wheat pasta(my kids wanted spaghetti for dinner), and tried wheat bread for the first time today. Makes b'fst much easier. I know I may be intro. new foods a bit fast, but if no bad effects after a few days, I don't see much point in waiting a whole week to try something else. Down to 8 pounds lost, trying to get my lazy behind to start some good exercise. I'm sure that will do worlds of good, too. How are things with you??

8# is GREAT!!! I'm starting week 4 today and am down 5-6# so far. I've only intro'd strawberries thus far. I planned on starting a grain today and bought some kashi cereal to add on top of my yogurt or something. Honestly, tho, I'm not a huge cereal fan. Last time I tended to eat LaTortilla factory small tortillas or make something of my own using white whole wheat flour. I just don't wanna intro those back for a few more weeks, tho.

I'd love to add in a 2nd fruit, to be honest! We'll see what the day brings, I guess. :lol:

I'm with you on the exercise, too. Right now I have a miserable cold, but plan to start some weights next week. Once the weather finally warms here, I'll add in some walking, too. I love my daily walks in nice weather. :D

started on feb. 11 so I am now on my fifth week and have lost 23 pounds. i still have a long way to go to losing 100 pounds.

MinB-did you add the other fruit? If so, how'd it go? I bought an exercise band, and tried it out yesterday. It was pretty easy, and I'm not in pain today. I can feel it, but not hurting.

I didn't end up doing a 2nd fruit, I ended up with triscuits. I'll add a 2nd fruit in this upcoming week. My schedule's been off kilter with kids home sick recently. Hopefully it'll be much more "normal" this week. How are you doing?

I started on February 25th. I've been on Phase 2 since March 13th and to date I have lost 10 lbs.

This is actually the 2nd time I've done SBD. I tried it first two years ago but only stayed on it for five weeks. I started it then at 185 and got down to 173 and just got off track I guess - I really don't remember an exact reason why I strayed.

In the last two years I gained all of it back PLUS ten more pounds as my starting weight this time was 195.

This time I'm much more determined than last time to stick with it and so far so good!

I'm so glad I found this website which I didn't know about the last time. I have gained a lot of info and learned a lot from this site. It's already helped me with the conversion into Phase 2 of this program.
