| i was wondering if maybe there would be a group to start that the women are different sizes and we pass on our pants??? I have some pant ranging from 24's to 20's that I can no loger wear I need more 16/18's and maybe some girls started at 16/18's and are now 12's or whatever, but hass anyone ever thought to just pass on the pants. I think the bad part of loosing weight is the continous shopping. Don't get me wrong I love shopping and new clothes, but when you need new pants ever month it is pricy and I am a single mom of 3 kids. So I was wondering maybe if someone had any ideas or if they have done this??? |

One suggestion is to have a clothing exchange. Some friends and I do this yearly, usually around the end of January. We pull together the clothes we have that don't fit anymore (or that we just don't like). The more people, the more size variety. Obviously stained or overworn clothes don't make the cut.
We gather at someone's house and bring our clothes, where we divide them into groups (tops, sweaters, pants, workout, dresses, etc.) then arrange in piles by size.
Then everyone goes "shopping"!! You are bound to find something you like that fits you, and a small bonus is that jeans are usually already worn in, lol!
Whatever is left at the end of the event is packed up and taken to a woman's shelter. Everyone wins.
I hope this helps! |

That's a great suggestion !
Right now, the giving part is easy to do, because I have a friend who lost a lot and will pretty soon be at the size I used to be.
I'll try to keep the idea in mind ! |
