| Time varies a lot from person to person. Depends on many variables..how much you weighed at the start, what your former diet was like, etc. Just a tip from someone who is at goal and staying there so far..try to weigh yourself only once a week, same time of day, same dress or undressed state, before breakfast, etc..and same scale. Weighing yourself more often is in my view shooting yourself in the foot. It can be discouraging if no loss shows yet..and you need to keep a positive impetus going. Or conversely, it can be so encouraging sometimes that one gets careless, thinking a few extras won't hurt cuz one is losing so well. A fixation with the scale can also blind one to the non scale victories going on..the looser pants, the increased stamina, the shinier hair, the healthier skin, etc. |
