I know this doesn't apply to the SBD, but I'm hoping someone can answer me because this seems to be a common problem on this board.
anyway... without being too graphic... does anyone with PCOS experience internal pain during sex? for me in only in certain "positions". please let me know.
and mods, if this is inappropriate, please feel free to delete my post. i'm pretty new and not sure what's allowed and what isn't.
thanks :) |

Personally, I've never had that problem but if you had a cyst that could be knocked during penetration, then it's perfectly possible. Maybe try positions that aren't so deep in penetration?

| I do have severe pain during intercourse, but only at certain times of the month & moreso in some positions than others. I do have a lot of cysts on my ovaries (more on the right than the left). One doc diagnosed me with PCOS, but another doc said it's not.........so I don't really know, but this is one of the reasons I am doing SBD. As I've looked into these ovarian issues I have I've found that insulin resistance (often caused by high carb diet, which I am definitely guilty of) can be a contributing factor. I have also been trying for quite a while to get pregnant with no success. |

I have some pain during sex during certain times of the month. And sometimes it is related to daily stress. And other TOM, I am fine. But during the times when I have pain while having sex -- it is usually when I have a bladder infection. Talk with your obgyn -- they can be so helpful.
