Hey guys... I did this diet a while back... and it's been so long ago I'm pretty much back to square one on my wealth of knowledge. :) I was just checking.. since I can't seem to find my book anywhere, if SBD was safe for pregnant women? I gained about 40 pounds before and during the first few months of my pregnancy, before I realized I was pregnant... the doctor said it's important for me to "at least maintain" my weight... but has noted that losing weight definitely won't hurt me. I just remember that I lost a lot of weight this way.. and with the "eating every few hours" rule my doctor put me on.. I figure this would suit that more. Just checking, because I want to be as safe as possible. Thanks guys!

| My understanding is that you can do Ph 2 while pregnant and nursing (except when nursing you need to add extra calories). |

Maybe you could talk to your doctor about SB to see if it's safe for you... My understanding is that P2 is alright, as long as you add some dairy products (2 cups isn't enough for pregnant woman).
Good luck, and congrats for your pregnancy !!! |
