Shannon, I suggest you get the book, read it - at LEAST the chapters related to p1, then read it again; same with the stickies at the top of the phase 1 discussion - read them - and plan to go back to look at them a few more times in the next two weeks! Just eat the recommended foods, make sure you're getting enough good carbs in the form of dairy, beans, veggies, do not starve yourself.
I found a lot of benefit in joining one of the p1 groups that started about the same time I did, reading responses from veterans who have been sucessful on the plan and reminding myself that I am stronger than food. |
