I've been reading reviews, but seems most of them are discontinued models or ones I can't find here (would rather not fool with having one shipped to my house).
Walking or jogging outside isn't an option for me based on when I can, and where I live, so I wanna do it inside. I am 41, and have osteoporosis. I really want to put more effort into walking and jogging.
I don't need one that I can train for a marathon on, but if I am spending several hundred dollars I want my money's worth too, ya know?
Does anyone here have one they're happy with? Preferably in the $600-800 range?
Thanks!! |

| I don't know a brand yet, but I have been looking on Craigs list to find a barely used treadmill for less money. There were a ton listed, but that is as far as I have gotten--the weather is still nice outside, so haven't needed it yet. |

I just bought one!!! I got it at sports authority for $442 with a 15 month warranty. I love that darn thing.
It has ten auto levels of speed with a button that puts you inbetween those speeds. 10 incline levels and 6 different body programs.
Proform 650.
I figure for $440 if it breaks after 15 months (if I do not renew the warranty) I got my monies worth out of it. $30 month |

I too purchased a Proform last fall & love it. We got ours at a Sears Outlet store for about $450 I think! It has a lot of programs in it that I haven't even used yet. I have a bad knee, so have pretty much only walked with a slight incline at various speeds. It has the heart rate/pulse monitor. It also keeps track of calories used, distance, pace. etc. I like it much better than the cheap $189 one I had bought from Walmart. This one is much easier on my knee.
Good luck on your purchase! Just make sure you like it, as they are cumbersome for returns, etc!!! Also, I've tried to make sure I got in the habit of walking on it daily instead of using for a clothing rack !!! :) |
