Well I have to say my 10 year old son and I LOVE the show! We look forward to Wednesday nights and it's interesting to see what his views and his choices are considering we are watching his peers. We both hope the little "beauty queen" gets kicked off her pedistal when they vote for new council members. She's the biggest brat I've ever seen! I am embarrassed for her parents, but kids are what you make them.
I don't really have a favorite yet, to be honest, they are all so darn cute! I can't wait to watch tonight!!! |

We're looking forward to watching it as well. Our DD's are 7 & 8 and wished it came on every night.
kickit - if you really watch closely, you'll see that they chose most of these children that are in the spotlight now for the abilities that they have learned in life i.e., the one that cut the head off the chicken, he's like 15 and has worked for a butcher -- which IMO is so convenient for the show. It's almost too Hollywood.
We use the show as a platform in our house to find out what our DD's think they would do if they were in that position.
newmeanna I hope the "beauty queen" gets tossed on her butt as well. Of course, that won't make her do anymore work than she does(n't) now. She is definately a product of her environment! Her mom is probably so proud  that she's sticking to her guns! |

I'm sure her mom will say she's being "picked on"!
I told my son that I bet she'll quit if they vote her off the council! What do you think? |

I doubt she'll quit -- but she won't change. She's not the type of child to quit but is the type to keep things stirred up and act like she's still in charge.
I was proud of the green team for not going against Laurel. That must've made her feel really good.
I was suprised that they didn't take the meat as a last ditch effort to maybe sway votes. |

Hi
My 10 & 13 yr olds love the show I like it too.
I too can't wait til Taylor is that her name gets the boot off the council
Im so sick of her DEAL WITH IT but then starts crying if they say anything to her.
But she is only a child. But yes we like the show too. |

I was so glad that they kept Laurel too! I was actually surprised that they kept Anjay on - not really that hip on him either - kinda has a superior attitude that rubs me the wrong way! I felt sorry for Michael, but thought the power was going to his head too.
My son and I started clapping when Taylor was kicked off the council!! I guess I was wrong w/Taylor quitting, looks like she's a rip roaring brat next week... from the preview it looks like she actually hits a kid.
My son's an only child and he is the kindest kid ever - it's all how you raise them. Sadly, I think her parents are probably proud of her behavior. |

I was so happy Taylor was voted off. She needs to grow up a bit. Spoiled to the bone. Which is sad at that age. sigh.
I felt bad for Mike only getting his own vote.
I was surprised how the kid broke down after winning the gold star. He was so happy.
Only bad thing is now the kid that was pretty much next in line for the gold star can't get it because he is on the council sigh. |
