Starting South Beach Diet & Boot camp?

I am planning on starting the South Beach Diet tomorrow. Monday I began a boot camp work out in my neighborhood. It is a very strenuous workout 3 days a week. Do you think it is a bad idea to start the diet at the same time? I am just worried about feeling weak. I have already paid for the boot camp and have no intentions of quitting but since I am already limited to things I can eat during the boot camp session (no alcohol, caffeine, lots of veggies), I thought it would be a good time to start a diet.
Any advise would be helpful.
Thanks!

no but I think you have to be more careful about how you fuel for the bootcamp workouts so you don't bonk. I'd start with things like beans, dairy and higher sugar veggies like tomatoes and onions. Hey, that sounds like chili! ;) Make a pot of chili and have a cup or so an hour before the workout. Get some protein and more good carbs in fairly soon after to help rebuild and recover. If you are still having trouble making it through the workouts, you might need to modify a bit for the days you do the bootcamp and include some fruit or grains before hand to help fuel the workout. It might take a few times to figure out the combo that works best for you.

Totally agree with Red. You have to be very careful how you fuel up for those workouts. Life's too short to not live it to the fullest and starting a great exercise program is a great idea. Just don't be afraid to eat the things you need.
