i watched it just for that, lol.
i don't know if she was just too nervous or what, but she was so stiff, barely dancing at all. and her lip synching was way too obvious. the song is good (the first britney song i've ever been able to tolerate!) but she needs to step it up if she wants to come back. |

| Ugh, that is definitely not going to be the performance which brings her career back... I really am pulling for Britney, but that was just awful - her vacant look and stiff movements almost reminded me a bit of Anna Nicole Smith... Well, the song is catchy so she may have a hit there, but she is definitely not ready for a tour. It is a shame - that girls needs some major help! |

Her new song is GREAT!! I actually like it.
Her performance SUCKED!! She looked like an amateur and yeah lacked confidence or something. I think if she had a fantastic performance she may have "come back" but it still looks like she's all screwed up.
She has to really clean up her act, go to rehab and get counseling until she she can really come back.
Look at Whitney Houston. She tried coming back and it didn't work for her. |

| I saw a video of it, and although it wasn't quite as bad as I expected, it was pretty bad. At the top of her form, she is an excellent dancer, but this looked like a camera movement blocking rehearsal to me. She needs to get a big reality check and some help. I feel sorry for her. |

| I heard on the TV that she was supposed to use magic in her show, but they veto it right before she was supposed to go on so she had to change the entire routine and that's why it looked so unrehearsed. :? |

i heard that, but i also heard that she showed up hours late to rehearsal with a frozen margarita in her hand and wasn't interested in putting in the effort to rehearse. i also heard that the moves had to be scaled way back because she couldn't/wouldn't do the complicated ones. who knows what really happened, but she definitely is not on top of her game anymore. she needs to get that spark back or hang up her torch. |

I just felt sorry for her. She wasn't ready. You could see she was so nervous and didn't want to be there. She heard that Sara person rehearsing right before she went out. That had to throw you off a tad bit too.
I just think she wasn't ready yet. She needs a little more time.
How horrible it would have been to rehearse one show and then end up having to do a completely different one in front of all your peers. :( |

I have had two different reactions to the Britney Spears Preformance:
When I saw it, I thought it was sort of funny honestly. I think when things are so hyped up and talked about like the VMA's where this year, you expect the performers/everyone else just to be really singing their best and making a great show. And to me.. I don't think Britney did.
I also feel really sad, at all the negative and hurtful things people say about her. My friends and family, just have no respect. I'm not a big fan of hers, but I do know whe's had a TOUGH year, so I suppose we can't expect a show-stopping performance right now. |
