| Hey Smurl - thanks for setting this up! I'll check back later. I'm trying to decide what colors I want in my bedroom and I have maybe 1/2 hour to decide. I've already tried 7 samples and decided I just didn't like any of them! |

| pp--I recommend sage green or a medium blue...both very soothing. |

Smurl - I went with a greenish blue color, called "restful". Our carpet is seafoam so I tried to get the walls to go with it. I was trying to match a quilt my MIL made for us as a wedding present. But the quilt doesn't really match the carpet and looking at the colors on the wall, just didn't look right. I'll have to change the quilt if it doesn't go. Cheaper than new carpet and window treatments!
Since our room is being painted I can't get into the bathroom with my scale - did that on purpose! I'm a scale-a-holic. I miss my bed though, the one in our guest quarters isn't very comfortable. We decided this morning we'll have to buy a new bed for out there!
Got to go do my journal, think I'm behind a day! |

Hi Guys,
Ack - I have a wasp infestation, right in the insulation in the window next to my bed! I've been kicked out of my place all weekend - staying with a friend in a "party" house... I'm exhausted and very worried about how far behind I am on my work. I'm hoping I get to go back tomorrow evening....
September challenge is NOT going well. This week has just been too much! I can't believe how hard it's been to stick to my great routine since I got back. I KNEW it would be difficult, but wow... I can still make my September goal (lose 5 pounds this month) by getting back on track this week. That will actually be much easier, since I am officially moved in and will be onto a regular class schedule...ARGH! There are times when I've been filled with excuses - this is not one of them.
I hope you guys are all doing well and having a great weekend!

| Mo--Sorry to hear about your hectic time!! I hope that it all calms down so that you can get back on track. I had some trouble with that last week, because the bf kept showing up out of the blue. That should not be a problem (though a good one) this week. Glad to hear you don't have to bunk with wasps! |

Thanks Smurl! I'm back at home today, and although I found a couple of stray wasps, I think all points of entry to my actual apartment are now closed. I really would prefer having a boyfriend hassle me instead
How's everyone's weekend going? I'm determined to make this a really good week for me - I'm aiming for 5 workouts for stage 2 of the September challenge, and 6/7 days clean eating. I'm testing out a yoga class on Thursday evening, and also testing out the spin classes at a gym downtown to see whether I like the instructor enough to buy a full membership (otherwise paying per class will really add up...). The clean eating part will be a bit tougher, as it will mean having to "stick out" at social events where everyone else is pigging out, drinking lots of beer, etc., but I don't want the bad habits to build back up again. It should all go much more smoothly this week! I really want to get rid of 5 pounds by the end of the September challenge...
Has anyone else set any specific goals for the week? |

cheeky--Sounds ambition, but I bet you can do it!! I slipped up yesterday and had an iced mocha, which blew my eating for the day. I have realized now that that is destructive thinking because it makes me revert back to the days when if I blew one meal or one snack, then it was no holds barred for the rest of the day. I cannot do that again. So, I don't really care about the eating clean per day thing. Just a meal or snack at a time for me.
My goals this week....workout at the gym at least twice...no excuses!!! I have been walking at least twice a day, but getting to the gym is harder than I thought because tehre is so much going on. |

Hi everyone!
Been busy this weekend, don't have much time. DH is cleaning the carpet in the bedroom and I should be helping! Didn't do bad eating this weekend - probably should have ate more at sometimes and less at others. Would have liked to have gotten more exercise, but with the painter in the house all day Saturday and Sun morning it made it hard. I would like to think we will be able to sleep in our own bed tonight - that would be nice.
We went and looked at nightstands for the bedroom - I wanted some nice matching ones. The place we went to was uh, a dad bit pricey! I don't think I can bring myself to pay $1050.00 for ONE nightstand! We need storm doors more than that! Lifestyles of the rich and famous - I'm not part of them - god bless those that are!
Well got to go. Posted my points for the first week of the challenge, did ok. Hope to really kick cheek this week, although I'll already miss my morning aerobic class tomorrow - Doctor's appt for that thick blood of mine!
Eat healthy! |

good mornin,
well i had a nice birthday weekend (bowling - i got like 3 or 4 strikes in a row at one point, whoa!) and now i get to go into work and talk to my boss about how frustrated i feel about my job, heh heh...
moving on saturday!
last night was the kind of hot & sticky night where i kept waking up really suddenly and was wide awake right away. i kinda got all upset last night because of an unreturned text message from my "friend" but i feel like it was all for naught and i was making a big deal out of nothing.. basically i'm so into him but i don't want to scare him, but i also want to let him know how i feel. :? it's so stupid because i *know* he cares about me so i needn't worry, really - i mean, he baked me birthday brownies!! (full of sugar and bad stuff, of course...but a sweet gesture nonetheless)
anyway it was really nice to walk at the park on saturday...kinda took off from exercising on my birthday - been feeling a little weak due to TOM during the past week. i certainly need to re-dedicate myself in these last weeks before my event. need to mix up my workouts more, certainly. it's actually pretty tough without a gym to go to... this week i will check out gyms in the city so i can get right in there after i move..
will respond to posts a little later. :) |

pp, i hope your doctor's appointment went all right this morning! and $1050 for a nightstand does seem a little pricey..what is it, made of gold?
smurl, good luck with your goals this week!
cheeky, goodness gracious - glad the wasps seem to be under control now.
there was a fight on my train this morning, and the police were called for while we waited at this one station for like 15-20 mins... come on, people, at least wait until you deboard. ;)
i changed my signature, whoa...

| kj--Oh man, there was a fight on my bus the other day! It was so stupid and stressful. The bus driver got in on it, which made it all the worse. |

Must be a full moon out that's causing all the fighting out there!
I just spent the last four hours crawling around on my belly touching up spots the painter missed. A little of it was standing, but mostly crawling around!
Didn't find much out at doctor, she's sending me to a specialist to see if he thinks I need more testing. Don't know why an asprin a day wouldn't work. I'm also going to get an Ultra Sound of the female area - this getting TOM twice a month is the pits - but that's been going on for years!
So that means I'll miss my class on Wednesday and the following Monday!
I'm sooo hungry right now and it's a good two hours before dinner! I better go have a healthy snack before I attack the chips my DH has in the cupboard!!! |
