Hi! I post a lot in other sections, but not so much here. That's because I'm still not committed to making exercising a regular part of my daily life. But I'm getting there...

Awhile ago, I printed off pictures of what a pound of fat looks like (you know the ones - the big, yellow glob sitting on a plate?). My intent was to hang it on the fridge to remind my husband and I of why we need to change our lifestyle.

Well, my darling 4-yr-old saw the pictures being printed and asked what they were of and for. So, I explained that Momma and Daddy have a lot of this stuff under our skin and it makes us be not healthy. And we have to walk on the treadmill a lot to get it out of our bodies and become healthy. "Oh," is all she said.

Well, fast forward a few weeks. The pictures are still sitting on the desk, and Little Miss Drill Sgt found them. "Mom - look at this! YUK! You've got this stuff all over your body! You're suppose to be walking on the treadmill! Get off the computer MOM!!!"

No lying. She was shaking it in my face and everything. Talk about having a slice of reality slap you up side of the head!
