Hi, I was thinking about getting the Slim in Six dvds. Not because I want to lose 340920349 pounds in six weeks... but because it looks like it would be a great workout and help me reach my goals (however long that takes!). Just wondering if anyone has tried them and if so... what did you think?

I know I'm not going to look like the people on the cover in six weeks or anything but... I thought it might be a great form of cardio when the treadmill gets boring and it's too hot out!

I'm already doing cardio on the treadmill and my pilates. :-) Just wanted something else so I don't get bored!

I just looked these up online...if these really work then I think they would be a great investment. I am going to look in to this and I may buy them.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I think I'm definitely going to give them a try. :-) From looking at them I certainly don't see how they couldn't do any good!

If you try them, please tell us how you like them !

I don't plan to buy any other dvd for at least another month (the ones I have are still a challenge for me !), but will surely do sometimes this fall, they could interest me !

I used Slim in 6 before my wedding and I lost a ton of inches. I unfortunately put them back on :( but the workouts work.

I really like Debbie Siebers. She isn't annoying like a lot of the instructors in workout tapes.

I may just have to dust off my DVDs and recommit to Slim in 6.

I actually find slim in six a bit boring, but that can be a plus. I have the workout so memorized that I can actually listen to NPR or something on the radio so that I don't have to listen to the same old talk on the video. It is a pretty well rounded beginning to intermediate workout and you don't need a lot of equipment dragged out.
