| Well, I've lost 80 now, and I want to lose about 30 more, so in the end it will be over 100. I've gone from size 26/28 to a size 14/16. Goal size is a 12. It can be done!!! |

I, too, am on my way. I've lost 67 LB, and would like to lose at least 40 more. I've been doing this for > 2 years now, and have been on a plateau for 7 of the last 8 months due to my husband's accident in December. About 4 weeks ago, I decided it was time to stop gliding, and I've kicked it in high gear again. The good news is that I maintained the entire time, even when he was in ICU on a vent, and didn't gain. Thank God!!!!!
It is possible, but I think you can't think of it as a diet when you have a large amount to lose. It isn't a diet, but is a change of lifestyle. In two years, you'll be two years older no matter what (unless you die). Why not change bad habits, and when that two years passes ANYWAY, you can be many, many pounds lighter?!!! |

| I'm shooting for a total loss of about 103lbs..and I have lost almost 57lbs so far since Jan. I will tell you this I will loose the rest cause I am determined to make it happen! This lifestyle change has been amazing and I know that I will get there as long as I am true to the plan, which I am and don't ever plan on going back to my unhealthy ways. At first 103lbs seemed like a huge impossible goal so I have broken it down into 10lb increments and so far I have almost accomplished meeting that goal 6 times...only have a little less than 5 more 10lb goals to go. I have no doubt there have been others that have lost 100 or more lbs adopting this way of life because it really works as long as you approach it like a lifestyle and not just a diet. Good luck to the person you asked this question for. |

| You might be able to go through the before and after photos section and find some who fit that category. maltaguy and gfly1 come to mind, although they are both guys. I bumped up a post by "sa7r6a" whose pics are pretty amazing and there is a poster lucyloo still on page 1 who lost more than 100. It can be done! |

I saw this post when it was first started, but didn't get to reply, 'cause life was (and still is) crazy.
If I get all the way to my goal weight of 182 (I'm tall, and it may actually be too low of a weight for my body. i'll see when I get closer to it), I'll have lost 107 lbs.
Right now, I'm basically almost a year into this and have lost 50 lbs. Yes, there will be bumps in the road (I've had PLENTY this last year!!), but as long as we keep at it, we can do this! |
