Sorry for not being around much but I have not been awake at home much in the past 4 days. Saturday, I did BodyPump and BodyStep followed by spending most of the day shopping for my soon to be born grand-daughter. Sunday, I did BodyCombat followed by BodyFlow. I then spent most of the day doing household and home computer chores. Monday, I book ended work with morning BodyPump and afternoon BodyCombat. Then dragging butt home at 7:00 PM, I made a supper, prepared for the next day and was sound out by 8:30 PM. Today, I did BodyStep at 5:30 AM. My legs felt like they were made of lead! I did it anyhow. I went to work and now I am at home. I still am dead tired.
So what does this mean to you, well…
Wednesday morning at work, after BodyPump, I will be running some long computer applications stress tests. Monitoring this is like watching paint dry. During this time I will be going over the discussion, your tally entries, some of your journals and will get back to you about your entries. To do this I will be printing out the discussion and tally threads first thing Wednesday morning. If all you entries are not ready, don’t worry, I will PM you if you are missing anything. My goal is to be your guide and not your drill sergeant. |

valkm wrote: Hi all, I read that some dropped out. I at first concerned about
posting daily of what I ate. I realized that this is just not possible
with as busy as I can get.
When I take time to post it takes away from my exercise time.
Then I read other journals of participants and realized they were
not posting every bite they ate either.
I am more relaxed about attempting daily postings.
Now I just check in to my journal and record any relevant
things about eating and exercise.
I think this is a great challenge. It has really made me fine tune
some of my SB habits and realize how far I have come in that
area.
Also, getting in the full 30 minute workout was too much this
weekend - I had to break it up into two 15 minute chuncks for
one strength point. I have only done this once, but I am keeping
that as an option for another hectic time.
Wow, there is already an Oct. challenge in the works? Hey I am not able to enter in my journal every day too. Just catch up when you can. Everytime I thing I have time, someone else seems to have another idea. And to top it all, my new grand-daughter is 3 days past her due date. Whenever she is born, good-bye schedule... |

Ktty, could you go swim ? It would probably be ok, since you don't have to put any weight on your ankle.
I have some catch up to do in my journal, I don't think I have written in it since Saturday (been quite busy). I've been quite busy (especially the 2 last days, with 12hours at work each day)
I may not be able to keep it to the level I would have wanted, but I still continue the challenge. My purpose is not to have a warrior title, but more to be motivated. Being in a challenge usually make me work out at least 2 more days/week I would do usually ! |

Stage 2 Special Points
Visit the Journals of others on the challenge. Post a bit of positive encouragement in at least 4 journals. One bit a positive encouragement can beat a whole lot of negative corrections. |

Question:
Is there a 1 pt per day limit on the aerobic or strength training or do we earn 2 pts if we go aerobic for one hour or for two half hour sessions? |

Adding up 2 half hour sessions is fine too. The part I really want to push is that you learn to enjoy what you are doing. |

Congrats for the new baby !
I "should" have some time to get up to date tomorrow night...
I'm having another 12hours workday :( And I may have to work this week-end too...
So this week won't be good, either at exercises or at eating... not sure next week will be better either (I'll probably have about 10 days of work to do in 4 (I'm suppose to study one day).
I love my job, but sometimes... |
