HI everyone

Well this weekend was a bust.

I did exercise and unfortunately I did eat way too much.

I realized by Sunday I was eating for the sake of eating and that is not making me happy. We were driving home from N Carolina and ate fast food 2 times and the 2nd time I ate BECAUSE it was THERE.

I need to get clean and there is only one way to do this so here I am..it will round out our August challenge nicely and hopefully by the beginning of September, I will be able to say, I am ready to move into Ph 2 again, rather than waiting till Sep since there is one last dreaded food weekend to muddle through.

Hi, guys!
I didn't exercise this week. But I did keep up the healthy eating and plenty of water, and I lost 2 pounds, which felt good. Imagine what I could do if I would get out there and walk every night! :wink:
Between this past 70-hour work week and the heat that smacks you in the chest when you walk out the door here lately, I was totally uninspired to kick it into gear.
Better this week, I hope!

1.Get on that rowing machine like I didn't last week, otherwise dum dum put that sucker on Craigslist!

3. spend some time each day continuing with organizing my papers

hey everyone! thanks otter for starting up this thread. :) i was away for the weekend and wasn't able to post last night.

i'm so glad to see everyone working so hard, whatever your level of fitness - we're halfway through the challenge, and sometime in the middle of this week i'll be working on tallying up and reporting the scores so far.

NOTE: I did not keep up 1 of my goals all the time last week , could keep up only few days and that is Staying strong and postive, i broke down and gotten depressed over my personal life, but i added an extra workout to combat , well without this challenge i wud have been feeling sad all week ... so again again , i thank u all...

Also sunday i worked out 2 hrs 30 min, with 40mins of strength with trainer and a 45 min spin class and stretch for atleast 25 mins

1. eat SB and staystrong mentally and physically
2. take my vitamin everyday this week
3. get organised.

I didn't do too well. Will do better next week! We had company, parties, lots of places to go and I didn't keep up. I didn't even keep up the minimums. I hope I calculated my points correctly?

Hi everyone!

I had a nice Monday yesterday
I went to aerobics and had a nice strength session as well. And it was divine sitting in the sauna yesterday.
This AM I went on my walk but I had to turn around a bit early because it started to rain really hard.

Another cardio session at thie gym this afternoon will feel really good-I may try some running/jogging again.

Hello all! Sorry I vanished but between dd's surgery and a friend coming to visit I didn't get on the computer at all. I'll take time later to go back and read what I've missed but here are my pathetic results from last week. This week will ROCK though! :wink:

Happy hump day all :D So far this week is rocks for me. I have stuck to both of my goals, been to the gym 2x so far, and done my pilates dvd 2x. It is so great to be able to exercise! I have really missed getting to exercise over the last 10 months. Yesterday when I went to the Y for the first time I promised myself that I wouldn't over do it. I walked briskly for 45 min. Last night I walked 50 min and actually jogged for 5 min. Whoo Hoo! I wasn't sure how long it would be before I could jog/walk again after having a baby but it was surprisingly easy! No problem what so ever :D I'm going to keep my jogging to 5 min this week and add another 5 every week until I'm back to a 45-60 min jog 4 or 5 days a week. The numbers on the scale are slowly dropping... 130 here I come! I hope everyone else is having a great week also. I think my points contribution will be a lot better this week. Let's see what I can do :wink:

Hi all!

It has been crazy today but my Phase 1 re-do is going great!

Aerobics was cancelled today so I power walked and ran and did upper body strength training.

Hope you all are doing great.
We are 2nd in points and maybe they will bump us up if we get our remaining scores in.

Sorry my points from last week didn't help much Otter. I'm energized to do tons of exercise the next two weeks so I'll make up for it! Yesterday I mowed the lawn which is a 2+hour job with a push mower and then did strength last night. This morning I went out for 10 miles on the bike. Planning a longer ride tomorrow night, short ride on Friday, and club ride on Sat (40 miles if I make it, LOL). Toss in a couple Yogilates and I should have great points for this week!

Having a pretty good week. I've managed to get into the gym or out on a walk every day this week. I've been waking up at 5 every day and have been really tired. This morning I went back to bed and slept till seven. Therefore I didn't get in my morning walk, so I battled myself all day as to whether I would get to the gym or not.

But I did!

I did half an hour on the elliptical and lifed weights for 1/2 an hour.

Sounds like we are all still kicking butt!

No worry about points..I am all about being in the challenge and with people who have the same goals for fitness and exercising--just getting out there and doing smething!

Salmon Lady--I feel your pain--every AM I am up at 4:40 AM to walk and be home and off to work by 6:15. I am wiped out by 9 PM!

My hair was on fire yesterday so I didn't get to post!

I went to aerobics and completed all of my fitness goals for the week. I am almost 1/2 done with my Phase 1 re-do and that is another goal I am on track with

Not much extra cardio this week so probably not too many bonuses.
